Warby Parker reached out to me December 2019 to create a mural and artwork for beams located through out the store in their new store located here in Louisville Kentucky. We wanted to create artwork that portrayed the brand but also celebrated Louisville’s heritage. Louisville has a history of Jazz music, so I took that and created a modern moment of a lady listening to vintage jazz records. The style of artwork on the cover of the records and the beams are inspired by jazz records of that era. If you look closely you’ll notice the pattern on the rug is made up of glasses.
